Just a short entry on my stay – during the day I work normally, connecting to customers and co-workers via the Internet.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner, however, is with friends as are activities during the weekend.
Evenings in August are sultry, I spend time either at my friends homes or we go to restaurants. Food has always been a big part of my life. Italy delivers every time!
One of the restaurants we went had this incredible view which matched the very good food we all shared.
One evening we went to San Gemini to have some late evening drinks – the place is already very nice during the day…but with the right lighting, it really shines!
Most other days, I run in the morning – nothing too hard, just to have some fun and explore the environment on foot.
Other mornings I just take a stroll around town.
Not everyone I know lives in Terni itself, but rather on one of the many surrounding hills.
I’ve never been to Italy as a tourist and only know big tables with many people and lots of food.
This is truly my being at home feeling.
Good thing I run long distances and can eat more or less what I want!
The week goes by in the blink of an eye with lots of fun with my friends.
I leave Terni on Saturday at 5am and am planning on driving on the motorway / SuperStrada until somewhere in the Pianura for a first recharge. After that recharge I will have to decide if I want to push TW560’s hardware hard and continue at high speeds as the temperatures will be 38°C+. Let’s see how things work out.
